V1.5 · scenario library

Four more lives the Twin fits into

Every scenario uses the same six tools — no new backend per use case. Ask → (short interview) → plan or action → the rest of the app populates itself.

Scenario 1 — single mom, toddler with a fever

It's 21:40, Liam (2) feels hot. One hand holds him — the other holds the phone. Voice-first matters here.

1 · voice ask, calm triage
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
"Liam feels hot, 38.6, what do I do"
38.6°C is a mild fever. Lukewarm sponge, fluids, paracetamol syrup at his weight (12 kg → 7.5 ml). Check again in 30 min — I'll remind you.
⚠ Go to a clinic if it passes 39.5°C, he has a rash, or won't drink.
create_reminder("Check Liam's temp", +30min)

Hands-free ask. Twin answers calmly, sets the re-check reminder itself, and states clear escalation lines.

2 · escalation, ready-made

● Online · ready to act
it's 39.7 now 😰

find_service("24h clinic", near) · notify family (existing V1 path)

Threshold crossed → nearest open clinic, directions, and family notified — she never leaves the conversation.

3 · the routine, remembered
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
Plan · Liam recovery day
06:00 — syrup dose 2 of 4
08:30 — call crèche, keep him home
10:00 — temp check + log
13:00 — GP follow-up if still 38+
Remembered: family · Liam · 12 kg, age 2
Next fever, I'll know his dose straight away. Rest — I've got the reminders.

Recovery plan becomes reminders; Liam's weight/age is a remembered preference — next time zero questions. (Weight is routine care info, not a stored health condition.)

Scenario 2 — "help me study" (teen, maths paper 2)

Exam in 12 days. The Twin turns panic into a spaced plan — then actively quizzes.

1 · two questions, then a plan
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
help me study for maths paper 2, I'm cooked 💀
You're not cooked. When's the paper, and which topics scare you most?
16th. trig graphs and geometry
Afternoons
Evenings
interview ≤3 Qs → create_plan("maths paper 2", steps[])

Same guided-goal machinery as the birthday — date, weak topics, study time. Done asking.

2 · spaced study plan
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
Plan · Maths P2 — 12 days
45-min sessions, weak topics first, rest day before the paper.
Days 1–4 — trig graphs + past paper Qs
Days 5–8 — euclidean geometry riders
Days 9–10 — full past paper, timed
Day 11 — fix mistakes only
Day 12 — rest. You're ready.
Add sessions to calendar
Daily 16:00 nudge is set. Say "quiz me" any time.

Plan steps → calendar sessions + daily reminder. Parents can see progress on the Family tab if she shares it.

3 · "quiz me" mode
MyTwin+
● Quiz mode · trig graphs
Q3 of 10: what's the period of y = tan 2x?
90°
✓ Correct — period of tan kx is 180°/k. 7/10 streak 🔥
Session logged — geometry next per your plan

Pure Gemini conversation — no new tools. Results mark plan steps done, so the checklist tracks real progress.

Scenario 3 — "sort out my week"

Sunday evening. Work shifts, school run, gym, Gran's clinic visit — the Twin lays out the week and guards the gaps.

1 · dump it all on the Twin
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
I work Tue–Thu 7 to 4, Liam's crèche concert Wed 15:00, Gran's clinic Friday, and I NEED gym twice
Wed clashes: you're on shift at 15:00. Can you leave early, or should I ask your sister to go?
Leave at 14:00
Ask sister
chat history + existing events give the Twin the clash

The Twin spots the conflict before writing anything — the one question is about the clash, not a form.

2 · week written in one go
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
✓ 7 events added to your week
Mon 17:30 — Gym (Liam in kids' corner)
Wed 14:00 — leave work · 15:00 concert 🎤
Thu 17:30 — Gym #2
Fri 09:00 — Gran's clinic + meds reminder
Undo all
Open Calendar
I left Tuesday evening free — you looked stretched. 🌱
add_calendar_event ×7 · batch undo

Batch execution with one "Undo all". Calendar screen streams the same docs — nothing new to build there.

3 · morning brief, daily
MyTwin+
● Wednesday 06:15
Morning ☀️ Big day: shift 07:00, leave at 14:00 for Liam's concert. Taxi strike on the M1 — leave 15 min earlier. Gran confirmed for Friday.
Remind me at 13:45
Full day view

The plan pays off daily: a proactive brief built from her own events — the "chief of staff" positioning made visible.

Scenario 4 — stretch R3 500 to payday

18 days to payday, R3 500 left. The Twin builds a survival budget and defends it with reminders.

1 · honest numbers, no shame
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
I've got R3500 till the 25th, help me not drown
We'll make it work. What's still MUST-pay before the 25th — anything besides food and transport?
crèche R800 and electricity maybe R400
one question · answers → create_plan, NOT save_preference (financials are never stored — A2 rule)

Money talk stays in the conversation. The sensitive-data rule means amounts are used for the plan but never remembered.

2 · envelope plan
MyTwin+
● Online · ready to act
Plan · 18 days on R3 500
Crèche (pay 5th)R800
Electricity (buy Fri)R400
Food — R95/day planR1 700

Day 6 of 18 · on track
Grocery Partner can do the R95/day food plan as a basket — want it?
create_plan + create_reminder("crèche", 5th) ×3 · hooks into existing Grocery Partner path

Envelope plan with pay-date reminders; the food line cross-sells the existing Grocery Partner — V1 features compound.

3 · the nudge that saves it
MyTwin+
● Day 12 · 18:40
Heads-up: food envelope has R570 for 6 days — that's R95/day, exactly on plan. The takeaway tonight would drop it to R72/day. Your call 🙂
Cook tonight — recipe?
Treat myself
Day 18 · Made it to payday with R140 left 🎉

Informative, never judgmental — it states the trade-off and respects the choice. That tone is the retention feature.
